AMEDD Center and School Information Portals (2005)

About AMEDD - AMEDD Innovations Since Desert Storm

The Medical Capabilities Integration Center (MCIC) of the AMEDD Center and School (AMEDDC&S) created targeted information sharing portals to support both sustaining base and deployment environments. The AMEDDC&S Portal was created January 2005 and the AMEDD Deployment Portal was created July 2006. Both portals offer access to AMEDD information, medical training that is independent of geographic and time limitations, publications, doctrine, lessons learned, and behavioral health and Family readiness information. In addition, the AMEDDC&S Portal offers a forum for issues and answers across DOTMLPF+ domains, collaboration venues through online communities, and linkage to deployment information.

The AMEDD Deployment Portal offers 24/7 information accessible by level of care or medical functional area, country information and Language Survival Guides, and Professional Filler System (PROFIS) and Professional Deployment System (PDS) Handbook Links.
