About AMEDD - AMEDD Innovations Since Desert Storm

The DOD Deployment Health Clinical Center serves all branches of the military and provides care related to all deployments. Created from the former Gulf War Health Center, it is located at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

The center's mission is improving military occupational health care by providing healthcare services, clinical consultation and practice improvement; developing health information and education programs; and conducting research to ensure evidenced-based care.
