Chem/Bio Satellite Course (1999)

About AMEDD - AMEDD Innovations Since Desert Storm

Chem/bio satellite course

The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases conducted its first satellite course on biological warfare and terrorism for military and public health officials in 1999. Experts from the Centers for Disease Control and the Food and Drug Administration participated in the training.

Several subsequent satellite courses or rebroadcasts related to chemical and biological warfare have since been offered to military healthcare professionals. These courses are accredited.
