Introduction to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

The following video module serves as a U.S. Army public service announcement intended for various stakeholders, from service members to their community and Family. The topics discussed include a definition of Trauamtic Brain Injury (TBI) in non-clinical terms, and presented in a format that can easily be understood by all audiences.

The audience is introduced to the magnitude and scope of the TBI issue as well as its effect on the military population.

The core message of the module is the importance of early detection and recognition of symptoms.

The military's current plan in addressing TBI, both in-theater and at home, is discussed so the audience is fully aware that the health and safety of all service members is a top priority.
